Playwrights Canada Press, the Canadian Drama publisher, is formerly an imprint of the Playwrights Union of Canada, which was created in 1984 out of the merger of the Guild of Canadian Playwrights and Playwrights Co-op. Drama, particularly plays, is the only genre published by PCP.
